Kettering University developed the Identity Theft Prevention Program (hereinafter Program) pursuant to the Federal Trade Commission’s Red Flags Rule which implements Section 114 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) of 2003. This program was developed with approval of the Finance & Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees. The nature and scope of the University’s activities relating to operations and accounts were considered to determine this Program. The Board of Trustees determined that this Program is appropriate for Kettering University and approved it on March 13, 2009.
