Provost Michael Harris recognized Gary Hammond, former professor of Mechanical Engineering, for 43 years of “dedicated service and academic excellence.” Hammond retired from Kettering at the end of the winter academic term and is currently trying to learn how to be retired while helping his wife care for their two great-granddaughters.
